FateMap 命谱 is a free, no-sign-up astrology tool. Here is exactly what happens to your data — described to match how the app actually works.
No account, and we don't store your birth data. Your birth date, time, and location are used to compute your chart on demand and are not saved on our servers. For basic, aggregate page-view statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you individually. We do not profile or sell your data.
When you tap “AI Reading,” the chart data derived from your birth information is sent to DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider, solely to generate your interpretation. Per our configuration it is used only for that response and is not stored by us or used to train models. If you never tap AI Reading, no data is sent to the AI.
When you tap “Share on X,” the tweet text shows your Sun/Moon/Rising (or Four Pillars), but the shared link contains your full birth details (date, time, and location) so the chart can be regenerated. Anyone with the link can view your full chart and read your exact birth data. Only share a link if you are comfortable making that information public.
We rely on a few services to run the app: Vercel (hosting, OG images, and the cookieless analytics above), DeepSeek (the AI readings, only when you request one), and Open-Meteo (city search — the city name you type is sent to its geocoding API to look up coordinates). We do not otherwise share your data.
